Thoughts on the way from Celigny to Coppet

Today I'm taking a short walk. A pilgrim from Cologne is showing me how to care for my feet. It's quite late, considering my feet have carried me all the way across Switzerland. Thanks to the good, unlabeled shoes I bought from a shoemaker along the way, I didn't really have to suffer much. During this pilgrimage, I've become much more aware of my body than usual. Whether on long marches, while climbing heights, in silence and listening, or in the evening when I lay down tiredly to rest.

For reflection on the way

"On this pilgrimage, I learned how beneficial pure water can be. I wish for a world where there is enough water for everyone to drink."

Follow in God's footsteps – He has the right shoe size (Irish proverb)

I also learned to drink ordinary water.
