Thoughts on the way from Romont to Moudon

From the diary of the pilgrim James

Romont and Moudon, two small, charming towns with cultural and historical treasures. I enjoy the tranquility, the charm of these French-speaking towns, the sunshine that shines again all day long, and the wind that has chased away the dark rain clouds. My French is barely getting by. The international pilgrim gibberish is apparently understood by everyone along the way, but it's not enough for in-depth discussions.

For reflection on the way

"I observe a series of strange bell towers: a vertical wall and, set into it, so-called bell windows with freely swinging bells, they are callers and admonishers."

To experience a day of undisturbed leisure is to be an immortal for a day
