Wrightsock Escape with scallop shell, black, high

The Wrightsock Escape (with scallop shell) is a medium-weight, highly breathable sock. Wrightsock is the only manufacturer to offer an anti-blister system through the double-layer construction of its socks.

Long hikes often cause blisters on the feet due to friction, heat, and sweat. The inner and outer layers of the Wrightsock Escape are connected at three points and can move in opposite directions. This prevents the skin of the foot from rubbing against the sock; instead, it is these two layers that rub against each other.

When it's cool, the Escape provides pleasant protection from drafts. It also keeps annoying insects away. A knitted section at the midfoot stabilizes the foot and offers secure support, even during lateral movements. The inner layer is white, undyed, and therefore skin-friendly . The Dri-Wright and high-tech fibers of the inner and outer layers keep the foot dry and protect against blisters.

The Wrightsock Escape has a slightly longer shaft (approx. 11.5 – approx. 20 cm depending on size) than the Wrightsock Stride (approx. 8 cm).
